Our Place in Millen

In the summer of 1946, Evangelist Gordon Blanchard conducted a tent revival in Millen. He preached soul-stirring messages of accepting the Bible rightly-divided, personal holiness, and the unity of faith of all believers. As a result of his anointed preaching, the attendees of the revival requested that a church be established. The church was organized as a local congregation of The Church of God.

Now, eighty years later, The Church of God at Millen no longer worships under a tent, but we still carry forth the vision of reaching the lost and dying world with the message of Christ and His Church.

Our Pastor

Joshua Farthing

Welcome! I’m so glad you’re here. Whether you’re exploring faith, looking for community, or just curious, you’re always welcome with us. My heart is to lead a church that’s real, Spirit-filled, and rooted in God’s love for everyday life. I hope you find encouragement here and take your next step knowing you’re not alone—we’d be honored to walk that journey with you.

I look forward to seeing you in service!

Suicide Prevention Seminar

Learn signs and symptoms and how to respond appropriately to save lives.

Suicide impacts entire communities – not just those who are struggling.

Most people will encounter someone—a family member, friend, coworker, or student—who is quietly carrying deep emotional pain. Thoughts of suicide are often temporary, but the outcomes can be permanent. Knowing how to recognize warning signs, ask caring questions, and respond thoughtfully can interrupt a crisis at a critical moment.
